Much of the Union’s work is carried out by committees. The Executive Council approves all positions and the membership of standing, ad-hoc, and special committees.
Ad-hoc and special committees are created as needed by a majority vote of the Executive Council. Duties and scope of service are outlined when these committees are formed.
Committee members must be union members in good standing for a period of four months prior to the date of their appointments and must remain in good standing for the entire time they serve.
