UPM By-Laws
Union by-laws have been established to clarify additional procedures, duties, and methods.
Any proposed amendment to the by-laws, submitted to the President by a signed petition of 25% of the union membership or by majority vote of the Executive Council, will be submitted to the general membership for approval.
“The labor movement was the principal force that transformed misery and despair into hope and progress. Out of its bold struggles, economic and social reform gave birth to new wage levels that meant not mere survival but a tolerable life.”
Martin Luther Kin, JR., speech to the Illinois AFL-CIO, Oct. 7, 1965
